This includes intraocular or periorbital foreign bodies, globe rupture, hyphema, lens dislocation, lens subluxation, retinal detachment (RD), retinal hemorrhage (RH), vitreous detachment, vitreous hemor- rhage (VH), choroidal detachment, papilledema, in- creased intracranial pressure (ICP), neoplasms, and vascular pathologies.
Along with the term 'ultra- sound', the following search terms were used: lens dislocation, globe rupture, RH, VH, RD, vitreous detachment, ocular infection, optic nerve, ocular vascu- lature, retrobulbar hematoma, and ocular foreign body.

Retinal and vitreous hemorrhage
A VH will appear as hyperechoic material within the vitreous.
